Membership is open to individuals and /or Families of Sri Lankan origin living in the Southland region.

Membership & Subscriptions
The Society offers both Subscribed and General membership options
Subscribed Members
Subscribed members pay an annual membership fee (Currently $30/ per year). This membership provides full voting rights and eligibility for leadership roles within the Society. Each family unit can have a minimum of two voting members, one of whom shall be the subscribed member and responsible for paying the subscription fees. The secondary member can be the spouse/ partner or children aged 18 or over.
Only the subscribed members can:
Vote at General Meetings
Be nominated for committee and leadership roles
General Members
Members, who are not subscribed members or the family members of a subscribed member under the age of 18.
How to Apply
To become a member, simply complete the membership application form.
All applications are reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee, and you will receive confirmation once your membership is accepted.
